Common Bush & Bearing Problems

Worn bearings and bushings are critical components that directly impact your vehicle’s performance, safety, and maintenance costs. When these small parts fail, they quickly create cascading issues throughout your vehicle’s drivetrain and suspension systems.

Noise and Vibration
Damaged bearings produce distinctive grinding or humming noises that intensify during turns or at higher speeds, making driving uncomfortable and stressful.

Premature Tire Wear
Failed bushings and bearings cause misalignment issues that lead to uneven tire wear patterns, reducing tire lifespan and increasing replacement frequency.

Compromised Safety
Deteriorated bushings affect suspension stability and steering precision, significantly reducing vehicle control during emergency manoeuvres and everyday driving.

Escalating Damage
When left unaddressed, failing bearings and bushings cause progressive damage to connected components, turning minor repairs into major mechanical overhauls.

Our Bush & Bearing Services

At Better Brakes Bayswater, we’ve been fixing and replacing bearings and bushings for over 30 years. Unlike general repair shops that treat these as minor parts, we understand how critical they are to your vehicle’s performance and safety.

Our specialized equipment and trained technicians focus exclusively on these components, giving you better results than shops that treat bearing work as a side job.

Whether you drive a family sedan, 4WD, commercial vehicle, or performance car, we have the right tools and parts to fix your bearing problems properly the first time.

Wheel Bearing Replacement

We replace worn wheel bearings with high-quality parts that last longer than standard replacements. This fixes noise issues and improves how your wheels turn, making your drive smoother and safer.

Custom Bushings

We make custom bushings when standard parts won’t work. Using metal, plastic, or composite materials, we create exact-fit bushings that perform better and last longer than off-the-shelf options.

Precision Bearing Pressing

We use special tools to press bearings perfectly into place. This prevents damage during installation and makes sure the bearing sits correctly, which helps it last much longer.
