OEM Replacement
The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) replacement range is designed and built to OE specifications for passenger motor vehicles. Replacement kits are packaged in the distinctive EXEDY silver and blue kit boxes holding the highest cover assemblies, clutch discs, and release bearings. EXEDY clutch kits have advanced dampening mechanisms, premium quality friction facings and high quality cover assemblies to guarantee correct fit and function every time.
Racing Clutches
The EXEDY Racing Clutch series are designed, engineered and manufactured for racing and high powered vehicles using the highest quality components and built tough to for your performance vehicle to power down fast and keep you on the track longer. There are four Racing Clutch options:
Single Sports Series
The single sports series is available in Stage 1 or Stage 2 kits. Both comprise an EXEDY sports cover assembly that boosts higher clamp loads, and utilise spheroid graphite pressure plate castings and additional drive straps to prevent pressure plate casting failure at high RPM.
Stage 1 comprises the Sports Organic (SO) clutch disc and release bearing. The Sports Organic disc features a premium friction material for superior durability and engagement characteristics as well as high rate damper springs to handle increased torque.
Stage 2 comprises either a Race Ceramic (RC) or a Sports Ceramic (SC) clutch disc. The Race Ceramic disc features a unique metal button configuration specifically designed for circuit racing. The thinner design profile results in lower inertia reducing shift effort and lightweight components reduce wear and tears on the transmission synchromesh. The Sports Ceramic disc possesses many of the Race Ceramic disc features but are specifically developed for use by professional drift, circuit, rally and drag racers.
Hyper Metal Series
The Hyper Metal Series is next generation clutch technology available in single, twin and triple plate configurations for both push and pull type clutch systems. The compact and lightweight designs improve engagement, shift and engine response whilst still maintaining driveability. The EXEDY Hyper Metal series range comes in Hyper Single, Hyper Multi (twin and triple), Hyper Compe-R and Hyper Compe-D configurations, including products for Japanese, European and V8 Commodore and Falcon sports applications.
Hyper Carbon Series
The Hyper Carbon Series was originally designed and produced for the ultimate in motor sports, Formula 1, and is the ultimate in clutch technology. Now, EXEDY has released this superior carbon clutch technology to the wider market for both street and track use. The carbon material is less prone to shudder on engagement delivering easy and comfortable clutch operation in high horsepower applications making it an ideal clutch system for daily vehicle use. The Hyper Carbon Series is available in Hyper Carbon Series (single, twin and triple) and Hyper Carbon Series D-core with damper (single and twin) configurations.
Racing Flywheel
The EXEDY Racing Flywheels are specially designed to reduce weight and inertia for improved engine response. Made from solid one-piece forged chrome moly steel, the special design features enhance air flow to improve cooling of the clutch system and guaranteed burst-proof to 16,000rpmn.
Safari Tuff
The EXEDY Safari Tuff clutch range is purposely engineered for the serious 4x4 enthusiasts. Designed in one of the world’s most comprehensive facilities and extensively tested by champions in some of the toughest four wheel drive races including the Australian Safari, Malaysian Rainforest Challenge and Xtreme Winch Challenge, you can put your faith in the EXEDY Safari Tuff clutch range series to give you the ultimate four wheel drive experience.
The engineered cover assembly boasts a minimum 25% increase in clamp load compared to standard clutch kits, featuring an anodized cover pressing to limit corrosion, spheroidal graphite anti burst pressure plate casting and additional drive straps. The high quality clutch disc has upgraded damper springs and premium grade friction materials.
Truck Tuff
The EXEDY Truck Tuff range is for light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles designed to suit American and European applications in Australian conditions. The large cover assembly windows allow for heat dispersion, with high quality springs and dampening mechanisms for shock reductions, and high clamp loads to cope with heavy loads. The Truck Tuff clutch kits covers lever and spring, push or pull type diaphragm cover assemblies together with a choice of clutch discs made from organic or cerametallic friction material and a choice of 7, 8, 9 or 10 spring centre clutch plates, with torque limiting brake and drive pins included where applicable.
Agri Tuff
The EXEDY Agri Tuff range is Australia’s largest and most comprehensive agricultural clutch range covering Yanmar, Kutoba and Iseki vehicles as well as agricultural clutches to suit American and European applications.
Devil Clutch
The newest addition to the EXEDY Australian range, the Devil clutch was engineered due to the growing popularity of bolt on performance modifications and is limited to a handful of popular vehicles. The specifically designed clutch can handle high torque loads whilst providing smooth engagement and low pedal effort.
The special features of the Devil Clutch include dual friction design clutch disc: one side has a ceramic friction material, while the other side is organic resulting in a significant increase in clutch torque capacity, massive increase in clutch cover clamp load and reusable high strength waterproof packaging.
